Lowell Nat (Nathan) (1880, Latvia — 1956, New York) — artist.

In early childhood Nat Lowell was taken to the United States and studied painting at the Art Students League. He became widely known for his engravings of New York City — its views, bridges, buildings and monuments — reflecting the city’s transformation during the first half of the twentieth century. He taught at Hunter College and at the New School for Social Research (New York). His works are held in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, the New-York Historical Society and the Newark Museum.
