Levina (née Plaksina) Elizaveta Moiseevna (10 August 1907, town of Lukomyl, Vitebsk Governorate) — retail trade worker.

Elizaveta Levina graduated from 10 classes of the Lukomyl secondary school in 1926. In 1926–1928 she worked as a secretary-typist. After marriage, until 1941, she did not work and lived in Zhytomyr. In 1941 she was evacuated to Chuvashia, where she worked as a receiver at an agricultural products warehouse. In 1942–1945 she worked as a shop manager at a peat enterprise in the village of Vinogradovo, Vyatsko-Polyansky District, Kirov Region.

In 1945 she and her husband moved to Riga. In 1946–1947 she worked as deputy manager of Store No. 40. In 1950–1955 she worked as a saleswoman in Riga city trade stores No. 22 and 50, in Special Trade Store No. 4 Latobuv, and in Store No. 21 of Tekstilʹshveiobuvtorg. In 1956–1963 she worked as a section manager in Store No. 39 of Riga Khoztorg.

She retired in 1963, but returned to work in 1964 and until 1967 served as a store manager for the Riga Consumer Cooperative. Since 1967 she was a pensioner.

Her father, Moshe Plaksin (1880, Lukomyl, Vitebsk Governorate – 1941, Riga), perished in the Riga Ghetto.

Her brother Samuil Plaksin (1915, Riga – 1942) fell heroically in the battles near Stalingrad.

Another brother, Aron Plaksin (1916, Riga – 1941), was also killed at the front.

In 1979 Elizaveta Levina received permission to emigrate to Israel to join her sister Doba Zeif (née Plaksina) (1918, Riga), who after her marriage in 1936 left Latvia for Poland and later settled in what is now the State of Israel. Shortly after Elizaveta’s emigration, her sister Khava Fishman (née Plaksina) (1902, Lukomyl – 1971, Israel) passed away.
