Lauchishkis (Lautschischkis) Sima Solomonovna (1904 – date of death unknown) — participant in the illegal revolutionary movement in Latvia.
From 1922 to 1927, Sima Lauchishkis was a member of the underground Latvian Komsomol. In 1927, she joined the Communist Party of Latvia. She took an active part in public and political life — conducting propaganda among non-party workers, collecting materials for the newspapers Cīņa and Darbs un Maize, serving as secretary of the women’s section bureau, and leading study circles.
She was arrested several times and spent eight years in the prisons of bourgeois Latvia. In 1941, she worked as director of the Diana hosiery factory. During the Second World War, she was evacuated.
In 1947, she returned to Latvia and until 1957 worked in production — as a factory worker, warehouse manager, and accountant at the Kurzeme Manufactory. In 1957, she retired. While retired, she continued to take part in Party and social activities — serving as deputy secretary of the Party organisation, member of the housing committee, and an active participant among veteran communists of the Lenin District. She also served as a voluntary inspector of the District Executive Committee.
