Kron Lazar (Lasar) Khaimovich (b. 1 April 1951, Riga) — engineer.
Lazar Kron is the son of Khaim Kron (b. 1922, Riga) and Maria Kron (née Truman) (b. 1922, Balvi). In 1973–1974, he worked as a technician at the enterprise Latgiprostroy. Since1974, he has been a first-category engineer at the All-Union Research and Design Institute “Teploizolyatsiya.”
Married to Tatyana Kron (née Polyakova) (b. 1956, Kharkov). Their daughter, Diana Lazarovna Kron, was born in 1986 in Riga.
In 1988, Lazar Kron received permission to emigrate to Israel, invited by his maternal uncle, Khaim Truman (b. 1912, Balvi).
