Kovnat (Kownat) Asya Pavlovna (b. 23 January 1949, Riga) — medical professional.

Asya Kovnat received an incomplete higher education. In 1966, she graduated from Riga Secondary School No. 18 and entered the Riga Medical Institute, where she studied until 1971. After a car accident, she was forced to discontinue her studies and undergo long-term treatment.

In July 1971, she worked as a cashier at the Laima industrial combine.

From 1972, she lived in Kiryat Haim (Israel), where she worked as a physician.
