Kopylovsky (Kopilowsky) Samuil Fedorovich (24 January 1883, Novo-Aleksandrovsk, Lithuania) — accountant.

Samuil Kopylovsky completed three years at the Pedagogical Institute in Dvinsk in 1903. From 1903 to 1906, he taught mathematics in Dvinsk, and from 1906 to 1941, he served as a representative of the Maikopara Tobacco Factory in Riga.

In the spring of 1941, Kopylovsky was deported from Latvia to the Krasnoyarsk Krai, where he worked as an accountant in Novoselovsk and later in Kansk. His first wife, Berta Kopylovskaya (née Reisenman), died in Kansk in 1946.

In 1954, Kopylovsky returned to Riga and, with some interruptions, worked until 1970 as a tag clerk in a workshop of the Riga Municipal Trade Department. In 1955, he registered his second marriage with Raisa Yufa (née Barskaya) (1902). Since 1977, he had been a pensioner. He was awarded the medal “For Valiant Labor in the Great Patriotic War of 1941–1945.”

In 1972, the OVIR office of the Latvian SSR Ministry of Internal Affairs denied his request to emigrate to Israel to join his daughter Tamara (1914), who had left Riga for Israel in 1967 and later resided in the Federal Republic of Germany.
