Koblenz (née Feitelson; also recorded as Feitelman or Feitel) Meriya Robertovna (b. 10 October 1928, Riga) — seamstress.

Meriya Koblenz was born into the family of Robert Khaimovich Feitelson (Feitel) (1897, Bauska District, Latvia – 1942, Kirov) and Doba Iosifovna Feitelson (Feitel) (1904, Bauska – 1943, Krasnoyarsk Krai). She completed six years of primary school in Bauska and attended two years of secondary school before being evacuated to Krasnoyarsk Krai in 1941. After the deaths of her parents, she worked at a fish factory (1943–1946).

Upon returning to Latvia, she studied at the vocational school of a factory workers’ artel in Riga (1946–1948), worked as a baker at Bread Factory No. 2 (1948–1950), and as a seamstress at the Stalin District Industrial Combine (1950–1953), in the “Daugava” Artel (1953–1963), and at the “Mara” Factory (1963–1969).

She was married to Khone Ekhanovich Koblenz (b. 1915, Jēkabpils); the marriage was childless.

In 1969, she received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her husband’s cousin, Grigory Abramovich Ravdin (b. 1933, Krustpils, Latvia), had been living since 1966.
