Koblenz (née Danzig, previously Bilyum) Dora Yudelevna (b. March 15, 1921, Riga) — saleswoman.

From 1936 to 1940, Dora Koblenz worked as a shop assistant in Ariev’s shoe store in Riga.

From 1940 to 1941, she was a cutter at the Riga Knitting Factory.

During evacuation, she was seriously wounded and remained in a hospital in Ivanovo until 1942. Dora never fully recovered from her injury and worked as a home-based worker for a disabled persons’ artel in Ulyanovsk (1942–1945).

After returning to Riga in 1945, she trained at Riga City Pharmacy No. 4. From 1945 to 1958, she was a homemaker, and from April 1960, she worked as a saleswoman at Pharmacy Store No. 5 in Riga.

In 1955, she was convicted by the People’s Court of the city of Khosta (Krasnodar Krai) under Article 107 of the RSFSR Criminal Code (speculation) and received a suspended sentence of three years in prison. Her conviction was later fully expunged.

In her second marriage to Lazer (Lazar) Koblenz (b. 1918, Krustpils), she had two children:

— Tsilya Koblenz (b. 1946, Riga)

— Rafael (Rafail) Koblenz (b. 1947, Riga)

During World War II, her first husband, David Bilyun, and her brother, Meyer Danzig (b. 1923, Riga – d. 1943), were killed in action.

Her sister, Mala Rozkin (née Danzig) (b. 1919, Voronezh – d. 1941(?)), perished in the Riga Ghetto.

Her parents, Yudel Danzig (b. 1890, Daugavpils) and Asya Danzig (b. 1899, Riga), emigrated to Israel in 1956 at the invitation of her sister, Hadasa Neiman (née Danzig) (b. 1924, Riga), who had moved there in 1947 with her husband, a native of Poland.

Her brother, Yakov Danchik (b. 1926, Riga), together with his wife, a Polish citizen, moved to Łódź, Poland, in 1960.
