Kliot Hertz Isaakovich
(24 September 1932, Riga) — procurement worker.
Hertz Kliot was the son of Isaak Kliot (1907, Disna, Polotsk region) and Chaya (Braudo) Kliot (1906, Riga).
In 1951, he completed 8 grades at Riga Evening Secondary School No. 14 for working youth. A member of the Komsomol (VLKSM) since 1948.
From 1950 to 1954, he served in military unit No. 10181, holding the ranks of private and corporal, stationed in the Turkmen SSR and the Kara-Kalpak ASSR.
From 1954 to 1958, he worked as a procurement agent in the “Stalinskaya pyatiletka” (Stalin’s Five-Year Plan) artel. In 1958, Hertz Kliot left Latvia.
