Iozefart (Josefart) Binyamin (Binjamin) Filippovich (9 January 1911, Ugāle, Latvia) — worker.

Binyamin Iozefart was born into the family of meat cutter Filipp Abramovich Iozefart (1878 – killed by the Nazis in Ugāle, 1941) and housewife Ioganna Yankelevna Iozefart (Grinblat) (1874 – killed by the Nazis in Ugāle, 1941).

He completed six grades at the Ventspils Jewish school. After moving to Riga, he studied for three years at the Jewish vocational school (1927–30). He worked as a weaver in a workshop-factory (1930–31), then as a mechanic at the Vezuv match factory (1931–35). He served in the Latvian army (1935–37), was unemployed (1937–40), and worked as a mechanic at a shipyard (1940–41).

Unable to evacuate, Binyamin Iozefart was imprisoned in the Riga Ghetto (1941), later deported to the Stutthof concentration camp (1944, Germany), and then to a Buchenwald subcamp in Magdeburg. After liberation (1945), he returned to Riga, but due to exhaustion was unable to work until 1946. He then worked as a mechanic at the Special Office of the Riga City Construction Trust (1946–50), at Housing Office No. 201 (1950–60), and at Housing Office No. 25 (1960–64). Illness prevented him from working (1964–65), after which he worked at home making utility nets (1965–70).

Married to Mina Borisovna Iozefart (née Tankel) (1914, Žagarė, Lithuania), he had two daughters: Roza Binyaminovna Iozefart (1950, Riga) and Aviva Binyaminovna Iozefart (1957, Riga).

In 1970 Binyamin Iozefart received permission to emigrate to Israel, where his wife’s cousin Shoshana Zelikovna Lavon (1909, Riga) lived.
