Ioffe (née Zhitomirskaya, previously Belaya) Valentina Aleksandrovna (b. 1930, Minsk) — film projectionist.

In 1941 Valentina’s family, except for her elder sister (name and details unknown), was imprisoned in the Minsk Ghetto. In 1943 she joined the partisans and worked in the underground of the Lachoy District Committee of the Communist Party until the liberation of Belarus.

In 1946 she was able to resume her secondary education, interrupted in 1941. In 1952 she simultaneously worked as an accountant and completed evening school.

In 1952 she married Boris Zhitomirsky. In 1953 her husband and the father of her daughter, Bella Zhitomirskaya (b. 1953), died in a car accident.

In 1956 she married Efim Ioffe (b. 1927), who adopted her daughter and gave her his surname and patronymic. The family moved to Jēkabpils. From 1957 to 1958 Valentina worked as an accountant at the Jēkabpils District Consumer Union (RAIPO). After the birth of her son Alexander (b. 1958), who was seriously ill and lost his hearing, she had to leave her job.

In 1963 she began working at the Film Directorate as a projectionist, a position she held until the late 1980s.

She was awarded the medals “To a Partisan of the Patriotic War” and “For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War.”

In 1978 her daughter Bella married Efim Dolgoy (b. 1948). In 1979 Bella emigrated to Israel, and later to the United States.
