Heimanis Boris Moiseevich (1947) — economist.

Boris Heimanis earned the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences in 1983, and in 1992 this degree was nostrified and recognized as a Doctor of Economics.

From 1992 to 1999, he served as a Professor at the Riga Aviation University, where he headed the Department of Accounting, Auditing and Statistics.

From 1997 to 1999, he was Rector of Riga Aviation University.

From 1999 to 2002, he worked at the University of Latvia.

Since 2002, he has been a Professor at the Baltic International Academy.

His academic specialization focuses on organization and development of finance, accounting, auditing and statistics.

He is the author of two monographs and approximately fifty scholarly articles.
