Gurevich (Gurewitsch) (née Kushner, formerly Shtrobach) Sima Izrailevna (22 September 1924, Riga) — milliner.
Sima Gurevich completed a Jewish primary school in Riga and studied for two years at a Jewish commercial school. At the start of World War II, she was evacuated to the Yaroslavl Region and later to the Stalingrad Region. In 1942, she relocated to the city of Pervouralsk. In 1944, she married Avraham-Leon Shtrobach (1915), and in 1945, the family returned to Riga.
In 1960, Gurevich moved to Poland to join her husband, who had previously emigrated. She returned to Riga in 1961, and the marriage was dissolved. She worked as a milliner at a knitwear and headwear factory. In 1969, she married Abram Gurevich (1923).
Her mother Rosa Kushner (née Ruman) (1896–1940) and her two sisters, Mikhlya Kushner (1923–1940) and Golde Kushner (1930–1940), were killed in Riga during the Nazi occupation.
In 1973, Sima Gurevich emigrated to Israel and later settled permanently in New York. Her sons Mikhail Shtrobach (1945) and Yasha Shtrobach (1951) initially lived in Israel in the early 1970s before relocating to the United States.
