Grein Meyer Abramovich (5 January 1918, Višķi, Daugavpils District) — butcher.

In 1931, Meyer Grein completed six primary classes at the Višķi Jewish School. Until 1938, he worked as a butcher. From 1938 to 1940, he served in the Latvian army as a private in an artillery regiment. Between 1940 and 1946, he served in the Red Army, where he held the ranks of sergeant, rifleman, cook, mortar operator, cadet, and later platoon commander in the 121st Guards Rifle Regiment of the 43rd Latvian Guards Division. He fought on the Northwestern, 2nd Baltic, and Leningrad fronts. After his demobilization in 1946, he returned to his trade as a butcher. For over three decades (1949–1982), he worked as a branch manager and butcher in a meat store of the Leninsky District Food Trade in Riga. Since the 1980s, he has been a pensioner.

His mother, Alte Grein (née Uzdina) (1885–1933), was buried in Daugavpils in 1933. His father Abram Grein (1880–1941), brothers Shlema (1916–1941) and Mulya (1920–1941), and sister Lyuba (1923–1941) perished in the Daugavpils ghetto in 1941.
