Goldring Max (Mendel) (12 February 1896, Riga – 1941, Riga) — surgeon.

Max Goldring completed his secondary education at the Riga Alexandrovsky Gymnasium in 1914. In January 1919, he graduated from the Faculty of Law, and in December 1919, from the Faculty of Medicine at Kazan University. He returned to Riga in 1920 and, in 1921, passed the medical qualifying examinations at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Latvia.

Dr Goldring worked as a surgeon in Rūjiena and later at the First City Hospital of Riga, as well as in the Jewish hospitals Linat‑HaTsedek and Bikur‑Holim—serving as assistant surgeon to Professor V. Mints from 1925 to 1930. In 1927, he furthered his training in Berlin at the surgical clinics of Professors Borchardt and Rosenstein.

From 1929, he maintained a private surgical practice and acted as a consultant to several mutual-aid health insurance societies. Between 1937 and 1940, he was the senior surgeon at the Petersen Clinic.
