Gassul (née Goldberg) Bela Yakovlevna (b. 1 February 1914, Daugavpils) – homemaker.

Bela Gassul was born into the family of Yakov Goldberg (1880–1924), a butcher, and Chaya Goldberg (1880–1959), a homemaker and mother of seven children.

She completed five years of primary school in Daugavpils and began working in a tailoring workshop. Before the Second World War, she worked as a seamstress in tailoring ateliers in both Riga and Daugavpils. During the war, she was evacuated to the Yaroslavl Region and the Mari ASSR.

In 1946, she married Zaul Gassul (1915–1961). The couple had two children: Riva Gassul (b. 1946) and Beno Gassul (b. 1955). Due to health reasons, Bela did not return to work after marriage and devoted herself to housekeeping and raising her children.

Following her husband's death in the early 1960s, her health deteriorated significantly, and she underwent major surgery. Her recovery required long-term treatment. In 1962, she was preparing to emigrate to Israel to join her brother, Lev (Leib) Goldberg (b. 1904), who had moved to Jerusalem a few years earlier with his wife, Zlata Goldberg (née Katz), a Polish citizen.

Her brother, Nahman Goldberg (1908–1942), was killed in action near Staraya Russa.
