Fomin Gershon (Grigory) (23 July 1910, Vitebsk — ?) - violinist.

Gershon Fomin was one of the most popular light-music performers in Latvia in the 1920s–1930s. He performed both as a soloist and as a leader of restaurant orchestras, contributing significantly to the urban musical culture of the period.

In 1926 he played in the restaurant “Sanssouci” in Jelgava. From 1929 to 1940 he performed in well-known venues such as “Foxtrot-Diele,” “Odeon,” “Alhambra,” and other establishments in Riga, where his repertoire and style made him a prominent figure of the popular entertainment scene.
