Finkelstein (née Burina) Dora Naumovna (21 June 1910, Riebiņi, Preiļi district) — nurse.

Dora Finkelstein was born into the family of the tailor Naum Burin (1877, Riebiņi — killed in 1941) and the hosiery worker Lea Burina (1877, Riebiņi — killed in 1941).

She graduated from school in Preiļi in 1926 and later studied in Riga at a nursing school (1935–1937).

From 1926 to 1930, she worked as a domestic worker in private households in Riga. In 1930–1931, she worked at the Sorensen canning factory, and in 1932–1933 as a weaver at “Maraudums.” From 1933 to 1935, she again worked as a domestic worker (for Rabinovich).

From 1938 to 1940, she worked as a nurse at Dr. Aronshtam’s clinic in Riga.

During 1941–1945, she was evacuated to Kassan-Kashka (Uzbek SSR), where she worked as a nurse in a women’s consultation clinic.

After returning to Riga, from 1945 to 1952 she was a homemaker. In 1952, she worked as a nurse at the 1st City Hospital, and in 1953 at the 1st maternity hospital. Until 1957, she again depended on her husband.

From 1957 to 1959, she worked as a domestic worker, and from 1960 to 1971 as a nanny at the industrial association “Riga Express.”

In her first marriage to Felix Lvovich Finkelstein (1884, Brno, Czechoslovakia — 1947, Riga), she had a daughter: Inna Feliksovna Finkelstein (1938–1946, Riga).

In her second marriage to Noson Abelevich Adno (1916, Riga), she had a son Abe Nosonovich Adno (1949, Riga).

In December 1971, Dora Finkelstein received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her cousin Rosa Moiseevna Finkelstein (1932) lived.
