Dashevsky Stanislav Moishevich (born 8 April 1947, Yangi-Yul, Tashkent Oblast) — electrical fitter.

Stanislav Dashevsky was the son of Moishe Dashevsky (1921, Vinnytsia Oblast – 1988, Riga) and Tatyana (Tabel) Dashevskaya (née Zlotnikova) (1923, Vinnytsia Oblast). In 1961, he graduated from Riga Secondary School No. 64, and in 1964 from Vocational School No. 7 with a qualification as a sewing machine repair mechanic.

From 1964 to 1966, he worked as a master’s assistant at the Rīgas Manufaktūra textile plant, and in 1966–67 as a vacuum station operator at the Bolshevichka factory. He served in the Soviet Army between 1967 and 1969. In 1970, he was employed as an electrical fitter at the Latvenergo plant, and then at VEF in 1970–71. From 1970 to 1974, he worked at the Riga Repair and Mechanical Plant, and from 1974 to 1980 as an electrician at the Kompressor plant.

In 1970, he began evening studies at the Riga Polytechnic Institute. He was married to Meri Dashevskaya (née Ratzin, previously Davydko) (b. 1950, Riga). Their daughter Ilana was born in 1974 in Riga.

In 1980, the Dashevsky family received permission to emigrate to Israel, invited by Meri’s sisters, Frida Shetzen (née Ratzin) (b. 1947, Riga) and Asya Bogorad (née Ratzin) (b. 1956, Riga). During the 1980s, Stanislav lived and worked in Canada.
