Chaevsky Semen Isaakovich (27.03.1931, Kherson) — dentist. Son of Chaevsky Isaac (1908, Ananiev, Odessa Oblast) and Chaevskaya (Yudin) Dvoyra (1911, Kherson). In 1947, moved to Riga with his parents. In 1954, graduated from the Leningrad Medical Dental Institute. In 1954–55 — dentist at the district hospital in Pļaviņas. In 1956–61 — dentist at the Ozolnieki Hospital (Jelgava District). In 1962–64 — dentist at the Bauska District Hospital. In 1964–78 — dentist at Riga Polyclinic No. 11. His marriage to Chaevskaya (Lysaya) Svetlana (1942, Chelyabinsk) produced a son Chaevsky Yevgeny (1969, Riga). In 1979, Ch. received permission to emigrate to Israel.
