Borde Isaak (born 19 November 1887, Jaunjelgava, Latvia – died 6 May 1966, Krasnoyarsk) – pharmacist.
Isaak Borde graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy at Moscow University and subsequently worked as the head of various pharmacies in Riga. From 1920 to 1940, he was the owner and manager of the Gertrude Pharmacy (Gertrudes iela 79) in Riga.
In 1941, he was arrested and sent to a high-security labour camp in Solikamsk, followed by imprisonment in Kraslag in Molotov Region. In 1946, he was released under amnesty and assigned to internal exile in Kansk, where his wife and children joined him.
In 1947, Isaak Borde returned to Riga with his daughter Irena and resumed work in pharmacies. In 1952, he was arrested again and exiled to Siberia, back to Kansk, where his wife and son were living (his wife did not have permission to leave Krasnoyarsk Krai). In 1957, he and his wife moved to Krasnoyarsk, where their children were working, and he continued his work in local pharmacies.
Isaak Borde died following a second stroke.
All members of the Borde family were officially rehabilitated in 1991.
