Bonver (Bonwer) (née Grinshpun) Maya Ilyinichna (born 30 April 1938, Kyiv) – nurse.

Maya Bovner was born into the family of shoemaker Ilya Semyonovich Grinshpun (b. 1907, Malyn, Ukraine) and housewife Rakhil Berkovna Grinshpun (b. 1915, Ushomyr, Ukraine – d. 1979, Kyiv). She graduated from Kyiv Secondary School No. 100 in 1956 and completed her studies at the Moscow Medical School in 1964.

Maya Bovner worked in Kyiv as an orderly in the urology department of the Junction Hospital (1956–1958), was a homemaker (1958–1961), and then worked in Moscow as a visiting nurse in Nursery No. 201 (1961–1963), and as a nurse at Polyclinic No. 62 (1963–1965). After another period as a dependent (1965–1968), she moved to Riga, where she worked as a nurse at Polyclinic No. 12 (1968–1976), as a resin caster at the “Poluprovodnik” plant (1976–1979), and as senior nurse at Polyclinic No. 12 (1979–1989).

In her marriage to Yevgeny Borisovich Bonver (b. 1937, Rostov-on-Don), three children were born: Valentina Yevgenyevna Sergeyeva (née Bonver) (b. 1959, Kaunas, Lithuania), Svetlana Yevgenyevna Bogod (née Bonver) (b. 1964, Kyiv), and Eduard Yevgenyevich Bonver (b. 1975, Riga).

In 1989, Maya Bovner received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her cousin Klara Mikhailovna Kaplan (b. 1928, Kyiv) had been living since 1981.
