Bobrov Boris Meyerovich (7.10.1948, Riga) – labourer.
Boris Bobrov was born into the family of mechanic Meyer Mikhailovich Bobrov (b. 1912, Rezekne) and music teacher Sora-Basya Borukhovna Bobrova (née Druyan) (b. 1912, Ludza). He graduated from Riga Shift Secondary General Education School No. 11 (1966), then from the evening department of Vocational School No. 22 (1973). Worked in Riga as an apprentice toolmaker, transport worker at the “Straume” plant (1965–1967), fitter at the semiconductor device plant (1967–1968), served in the Soviet Army (1968–1970, Kaliningrad). After demobilisation, returned to Riga and worked as a musician in the Bureau of Variety Orchestras (1970–1971), as a fitter at the Natural Gas Office of the Riga Industrial and Operational Gas Network Administration (1971–1973), and as a tower crane operator at the Mechanisation Department of the City Maintenance Construction Trust of the Riga City Executive Committee (1973–1974).
In 1974, Boris Bobrov received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1972 his cousin (daughter of his father's sister) had been living – Feiga Natanovna (or, according to other sources, Nisonovna) Gelbart (née Dori) (b. 1937, Rezekne).
