Blumenfeld Moishe (Moisey) ben-Simon of Mitau was a writer of the mid-19th century. He composed commentaries on certain passages of the Passover Haggadah: on the hymn “Echad Mi Yodea” in the form of questions and answers reflecting the 13 principles of faith, under the title Danad Emet; and on “Chad Gadya” under the title Chayat ha-Nefesh. Both parts were published together under the collective title Magid Mescharim. Other works by Blumenfeld remain unpublished.
