Zusman (Susmann) Yakov (27 March 1878, Lucyn – ?) — public figure, merchant.
Before the war Yakov Zusman lived in St. Petersburg, where he represented the organization Ahdut and for many years served as its vice president. He actively collaborated with a number of philanthropic and cultural societies and was a board member of several banks.
After moving to Riga, he became involved in nearly all major communal organizations. He served as chairman of the board of Gemilut Hesed (loan society) of the Riga Jewish community, was a member and chair of the financial commission of Malbish Arumim (clothing the poor), a member of the guarantors’ society of the Jewish Theater, a member of the financial commission of Bikur Holim (visiting the sick), and a representative of the jewelers’ section in the Trade and Industry Union.
