Silene / Boruvka
Born in 5630 (1870).
He studied in Eishyshok, in Vilna, and at the kollel in Kovna. A distinguished student of R. Yisrael Avraham Ma Yafit, rabbi of Preil. He was ordained by him for halakhic rulings, and also by the Rebbe R. Shmarya Noach Schneersohn of Bobruysk and additional rabbis.
Son-in-law of R. Yehuda Leib Zaharia (Zehuriah) who served in the rabbinate in the cities of Leigmian, district of Sventsyan, Vysokoye Litovsk, and Breslov in White Russia.
He served as rabbinic decisor in Bobruysk and afterward served here as rabbi.
In 5664 (1904) he was accepted as rabbi in Shverzna, district of Mohilev.
