Zavadovskaya (Sawadowska) (née Halperina) Maria Saulovna (b. 8.02.1917, Daugavpils - ?, ?) - dressmaker.

After graduation from 6 classes of Daugavpils school in 1931-40 Maria Zavadovskaya was a dressmaker in private workshops (born 8.02.1917 - ?, ?). - dressmaker in private workshops (Daugavpils), in 1940-41 - dressmaker in the Voentorg (Daugavpils).

In 1941-42. Maria Zavadovskaya was a prisoner of the ghetto (Daugavpils), and in 1942-43 - prisoner in concentration camps ‘Salaspils’ and ‘Lenta’ (Riga), in 1943-44 she was imprisoned in concentration camps 'Stuthoff’, ‘Buch Graben’, ‘Karthausen’ (Germany). After liberation in 1944-45 she was a dressmaker in the Military Store of the Soviet occupation troops (Berlin, Leipzig), in 1945-46 - head of the tailoring workshop in military unit 75393 of the Soviet occupation troops (Berlin, Leipzig, Chemnitz), in 1949 she was a procurement specialist in the same military unit (Germany). In 1963-72 she worked as a dressmaker in Atelier No. 1 of the Indposhiv factory, PA Silhouette (Riga).

Maria’s first husband (from 1938) Simon Abramovich Tiles (1910, Daugavpils - 1941, Daugavpils) was shot by Nazi. Her second husband (from 1946) was Anatoly Ivanovich Zavadovsky (1917, Demiankovtsy, Dunavets district, Khmelnitsky region - 1970, Riga). In 1971-74 she was married to Simon Movshovich Bikson (1909, Jekabpils - 1974, Riga).

Father: Shevel Borovich Halperin (1876, ? - 1923, Daugavpils).

Mother: Rebecca Solomonovna Galperin (née Zak) (1886, Daugavpils - 1941, Riga), died in the Riga ghetto.

Brothers: Wolf Shevelevich Halperin (1906, Daugavpils - ?, ?), Zalman Shevelevich Halperin (1909, Daugavpils - 1942, Daugavpils) shot by Germans.

Sister: Lyuba Shevelevna (1904, Daugavpils - 1941, Riga), shot by Nazi, Anna Saulovna Polon (b. 1915, Vladimir) in 1956 together with her husband (?), who had Polish citizenship, and children (?) emigrated first to Poland, and then in 1957 to her husband's relatives in France (Paris).
