Yavits Naum (11.02.1942, Perm) – anesthesiologist, dentist.
In 1945 the family returned from Perm to Riga. In 1959 he completed the 1st Railway Secondary School of Riga. In 1965 he completed the Riga Medical Institute. In 1965–1973 he worked as an anesthesiologist at the Latvian Republican Clinical Hospital. In 1973 he repatriated to Israel. From 1974 to 1993 he served in the Israel Defense Forces as a military physician. He retired with the rank of major in the medical service. From 1994 to the present he works as a dentist.
