Hirsh Vozbutski was Member of the board of Gmilut Chasadim on Marien Street, President of the Jewish society of Philisters (alumni members) at the University of Latvia and the Riga Polytechnic Institute and a chairman of the Jewish community of Libau (Liepāja).
