Timkin Leib (2 June, Vitebsk) — public figure.
Leib Timkin was a permanent resident of Riga. He was a member of the boards of a number of Jewish public organizations and institutions. He served as chairman of the council of the Society for Affordable Dining Facilities, and was a board member of “Malbish Arumim.”
He was chairman of the “Gemilas Chesed” society at the synagogue “Alt Nayer Shul,” elder (gabbai) of the same synagogue, a board member of the First Riga Savings Bank, and a member of the council of the “Commercial Bank.”
From 1924, he was a member of the board of the “Society of Jewish Houseowners.”
