Sulman Basya Zalmanovna (1919) — physician.
In 1936–1941, she studied at the Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Institute in the specialty “general medicine,” receiving the qualification of a physician.
She worked as an oncologist at the 4th Riga United Hospital and at the Riga City Oncological Dispensary. She was repeatedly elected chair of the local committee of the 4th City Hospital. She was non-party affiliated.
In 1953, she graduated with distinction from the University of Marxism-Leninism. From October 1971, she worked as a surgeon in the traumatology department of the 2nd Riga City Hospital.
