Sholomovich Natan Davidovich (1913)

Sholomovich Natan Davidovich (1913, Orsha – unknown). From 1931 to 1941 he worked as a draftsman-designer at various enterprises in Orsha: the knitwear factory administration, and the makhorka (tobacco) factory administration. During the Great Patriotic War he was evacuated to Sverdlovsk Region, where he worked as a safety supervisor and shop foreman at a machine-building plant. In 1945 he moved to Riga and worked as head of Shop No. 1 at the GVTsM USSR (State Precious Metals Inspectorate). From 1946 to 1947 he worked as an authorized officer of the operations department of the GVTsM USSR. From 1947 to 1950 he worked at numerous procurement depots in Riga. In 1950 he moved to Kharkiv, working as head of the quality control department of the “Kharmetalloobrabotka” artel. In 1950 he returned to Riga, working as shop foreman and acting designer at the “Sarkana Planeta” enterprise. From 1951 he worked at the Riga Jewelry Factory.
