Sher (Rabinovich) Gita Solomonovna (10.03.1917, Krāslava) – cashier. In 1943—45 Sh. worked as a teacher and secretary at incomplete secondary school No. 8 in Andijan, Uzbek SSR. In 1945—47 she worked as a secretary while also studying at the Riga Teachers' Institute on Rainis Street. The German occupation took the lives of all of Sh.'s relatives: brothers Rabinovich Iosif (1913, Krāslava – 1942) and Rabinovich Grigory (1913, Krāslava – 1942) died at the front; her parents Rabinovich Zalman (…, Krāslava – 1942) and Rabinovich Sonya (1888, Krāslava – 1942), and her brother and sisters Rabinovich Shura (1928, Krāslava – 1942, Krāslava), Rabinovich (1915, Krāslava – 1942, Krāslava), and Rabinovich Khasya (1924, Krāslava – 1942, Krāslava) were killed in Krāslava.
In 1947 Sh. married Sher Tevel (1906, Viļāni). Their marriage produced daughters Sher Ilona (1947, Riga) and Sher Ruta (1948, Riga). In the 1960s Sh. applied for permission to travel to Israel to her husband's relatives and to her cousin Kogan Yegude (…), who had left Latvia in 1936.
