R. Moshe Aharon son of R. Yaakov Rabinowitz

Born in Smorgon in 5598 (1838).

He served here as rabbi.1) Afterward he resigned from the rabbinate, moved to Vilna, and engaged in commerce.

He was among the founders of the moshava Hadera in the Land of Israel.

He passed away in Vilna in 5657 (1897).
