Peisakhov (Peisachov) Lev (16 May 1973, Riga – 6 August 1993, Israel) — IDF soldier.
In 1986, the Peisakhov family moved to Azerbaijan, and in 1989, emigrated to Israel. They first settled in Kiryat Ata and later moved to Beit She'an. Due to financial difficulties, Lev was forced to leave his studies at the “Hadassim” youth village and took a job as a welder.
In mid-June 1992, he was drafted for mandatory military service and became an armored personnel carrier (APC) driver. On 6 August 1993, he was killed at a checkpoint during a terrorist attack. He was buried in the military cemetery in Beit She'an. He was posthumously promoted to the rank of sergeant.
To commemorate Lev Peisakhov, his family donated his personal library to the “Eichal Yosef Meir” synagogue.
