She completed six grades of primary school in Daugavpils and moved to Riga in 1929. She worked as an apprentice at the Unitas knitwear factory (1935–1936), as a shop assistant (1936–1940), and as a bookbinder at the VAPP printing house (1940–1941).

In 1941 she was evacuated to the settlement of Ust-Fekli in the Kazakh SSR, where she worked as a general laborer on a local collective farm (1941–1945). After returning to Riga in 1945, she did not work outside the home and was engaged in housekeeping (1945–1960). She then worked as a kiosk attendant at the Riga agency of Soyuzpechat (1960–1971). From 1971 she was retired.

Married to Toviy Izrailovich Munits (1916, Rezekne). Their children are Khaim Tovievich Munits (1945, Riga) and Gita Tovievna Munits (1951, Riga).

In 1972 Reveka Munits received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her brother Shlomo Khaimovich Dimant (1908, Vishki) had been living since 1935.
