Son-in-law of R. Moshe Yitzchak HaLevi, rabbi of Valdemarfils and other places.

He served as rabbi of Shavlan (see there), and from the end of 5624 as rabbi here, until some time after his father's passing (in 5626), when he moved to fill his father's place in the rabbinate of Sardnik.1)
