Licht Libe Solomonovna (1938)

Licht (Likht) Libe Solomonovna(26 April 1938, Riga) — hairdresser.

Libe Licht was the daughter of Solomon Licht (1906, Rēzekne) and Etta Licht (née Khozias) (1910, Jelgava). In 1957, she graduated from Riga Secondary School No. 18. In 1961, she completed her studies at the Riga School of Hairdressing. In 1961–67, she worked as a master hairdresser at the Riga Municipal Hairdressing Service Office. In her marriage to Mendel Levin (b. 1937, Daugavpils) (dissolved in 1964), a son, Hirsh Levin (b. 1962, Riga), was born. In 1969, Libe Licht received permission to emigrate to Israel at the invitation of her father’s sister, Shifra Furman (née Licht) (1902, Rēzekne).
