In 1941 she was evacuated to Shakhrinau, Tajik SSR, where until 1944 she worked as a cleaner in Children’s Home No. 1. After returning home she again worked as a cleaner at the ORS until 1947.

In 1947–67 she was a housewife. From 1967 she worked as a home-based worker for the Riga Carton Factory.

In her marriage with Grigory Feferman (1897, Odessa Oblast – 1942, Tajik SSR) their daughter Sarra Leinzon (née Feferman) (1930, Odessa Oblast) was born; she later took the surname of Bronya’s second husband, Khaim Leinzon (1885, Tarutino, Izmail Oblast).

Bronya’s parents, Ruvim Dorfman (1868, Odessa Oblast – 1941, Odessa Oblast) and Mindel Dorfman (1878, Odessa Oblast – 1941, Odessa Oblast), perished in the Holocaust.

Her sister and brother, Rakhil Kuruferld (née Dorfman) (1890, Odessa Oblast – 1942, Tajik SSR) and Shanse Dorfman (1893, Odessa Oblast – 1943, Tajik SSR), died in evacuation.
