Lantsman (Lanzmann) Dmitry Aron-Moiseyevich (28 February 1923, Gorbovo, Zhytomyr Region, Ukraine) — worker.

Dmitry Lantsman was born into the family of Aron-Moisey Avrumovich Lantsman (1894, Gorbovo, Zhytomyr Region – 1970, Kyiv) and Lantsman (née Shekhter) Zhenya Moiseyevna (1901, Baryshi, Zhytomyr Region – 1955, Kyiv).

No information is available about his formal education. He worked as Head of the Department for Technical Development, Head of the Laboratory for Implementation at the All-Union Research Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology of the Ministry of Geology of the USSR (1978, Moscow Region); Head of the Thematic Party for Marine Engineering and Geological Technology of the Geology Administration of the Ministry of Geology of the RSFSR (1978–1980, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk); and Head of the Thematic Party of the Pacific Ocean Marine Expedition of the All-Union Industrial Association “Soyuzmorgeo” (1980–1982, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk).

Until 1983 he lived on his savings. Later worked as a mechanic at the Bolshevichka factory (1983–1985, Riga) and as a mechanic at the Riga Taxi Production Association (1985–1990).

Dmitry Lantsman had two daughters — Irena Dmitrievna Lantsman (1952, Kyiv) and Elena Dmitrievna Lantsman (1961, Moscow). The documents do not specify from which marriage they were born.

In 1990, he received permission to emigrate to the United States, where since 1985 his wife’s sister, Berta Khaim-Gershevna Reitblat (née Nabedrik) (1946, Zhytomyr), had lived.
