Alūksne / Marienburg
Born in the year 5668 (1908) in Bauska, where his father served as rabbi.
He studied at the yeshiva in Riga, and was appointed rabbi in the year 5690 (1930).
He perished in the city in the Holocaust along with his family members on 19 Menachem Av 5701 (12 August 1941).
