Krol Mikhail Viktorovich (?.09.1925, Moscow — ?) — film production economist. Born into a white-collar family. At the age of 17, while in evacuation, worked from May to October 1942 as an electrician at a copper smelting plant in Krasnoural'sk. In 1943–45, studied at the Moscow Aviation Institute; in 1945, enrolled at the economics faculty of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, the same year joined the trade union of cinema and photo workers. In 1949, graduated with a specialisation in film production economics.
