Kor Michael (Mikhail) (?, Riga) — pharmacist.

Michael Kor was the fourth son in a poor, religious Jewish family. During the Holocaust, he was sent to the ghetto. His father was taken away for forced labour, where he died; one of his brothers escaped from the ghetto and joined the Resistance. Thanks to his mother, Kor was sent to labour camps with the older boys, while his mother disappeared in the ghetto. He escaped from the camp when the liberators arrived. He moved to the United States, settled in Indiana, and studied pharmacy.
