Koblenz Hone Ekhanovich (b. 3 December 1915, Jēkabpils, Latvia) — worker.
Hone Koblenz was born into the family of Ekhon Khirshevich Koblents (1889–1932, Jēkabpils), a laborer, and Liba Shmulevna Koblents (1898–1930, Jēkabpils), a homemaker. He completed local primary school and began working at the age of twelve as a general laborer at various private enterprises (1927–1938). He served in the Latvian Army (1938–1939, Gulbene), then worked in Jēkabpils as warehouse manager in an electrical appliance store (1940–1941).
During the war, Hone Koblenz was evacuated to Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) and joined the Soviet Army (1941–1942). Seriously wounded in combat, he underwent treatment in Sverdlovsk (now Yekaterinburg) (1942–1943), after which he moved to Frunze, Kyrgyz SSR (now Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan), where he worked as canteen manager in the “1st of May” artel and studied at accounting courses (1943–1945).
After returning to Jēkabpils, he lived and recovered in a WWII Invalids’ Home (1945–1947). He later worked as kiosk manager for a local industrial artel (1947–1953) and head of supplies at the “Jaunais Ceļš” artel (1953–1958). Upon moving to Riga, he worked as a procurement officer at the “Māksla” artel (1958–1963) and as a worker at the “Māra” factory (1963–1967). From 1967, he was retired.
Married to Meriya Robertovna Koblenz (née Feitelson, also recorded as Feitelman or Feitel) (b. 1928, Riga). The couple had no children.
In 1969, Hone Koblenz received permission to emigrate to Israel, where since 1966 his cousin Grigory Abramovich Ravdin (b. 1933, Krustpils, Latvia) had been living.
