Kaplan Tsvi (Zwi)–Grigory Samuilovich
(1918, Dvinsk — 1935, Guadalajara) — participant in the Spanish Civil War.
Born into a large family. In 1935 he arrived in Spain and was killed in his very first battle.
Brothers:
Yankel — killed during World War II
Faivish — wounded during the same period
Dov — imprisoned in the Daugavpils ghetto, escaped, joined the partisans, later became a tankist in the Red Army; after the war emigrated to Israel, where he took part in the Wars of Independence.
