Moshe Kalgut graduated from the Technological Institute in St. Petersburg with a degree in engineering technology. Founder and long-time chairman of the Jewish Technological Society. He was a member of the board of the Trade and Industry Union. Vice-chairman of the mutual credit society council at the Trade and Industry Union. Member of the board of the Jewish Intelehants Bank. Member of the arbitration commission at the Trade and Industry Union.
