Born in 5603 (1843).
Son-in-law of R. Sh.Z. Hirshowitz, rabbi of Goldingen.
He was accepted as rabbi here in 5631 (1871) and served in the rabbinate for many years, until his passing on 17 Kislev 5672 (8 December 1911).
