Gordon (Dimant) Elizaveta Vulfovna (1898, Dvinsk, now Daugavpils) — homemaker.
Elizaveta Gordon was born into the family of Vulf Dimant (date of birth not recorded in documents, died 1932, Dvinsk), a civil servant, and Sheina Dimant (date of birth not recorded, died 1932, Dvinsk), a housewife. There is no information in the documents regarding her education. She was dependent on her husband from 1922 to 1941.
In 1941, together with her daughters, she was deported (alternatively described as “administratively resettled”) to the Dzerzhinsky District of Krasnoyarsk Krai, where she worked on a local collective farm (1941–1942). In 1942, the family was again resettled — this time to the village of Sergeyevo, Yartsevo District, within the same region. There, Elizaveta worked as a labourer on a collective farm (1942–1947). Upon returning to Daugavpils, she lived dependent on her daughters (1947–1951). In 1951, she was once again “administratively resettled” to Krasnoyarsk Krai (city of Kansk), where she remained dependent on her daughters (1951–1956). After returning to Riga in 1956, she lived under the care of her daughter Rokha Shlyomovna Mostova (Gordon) until 1969.
She was married to Shlyoma (Solomon) Israilevich Gordon (1893, Dvinsk – died in custody in 1942, Vyatlag camp). They had three daughters: Rokha Shlyomovna Mostova (Gordon) (1925, Dvinsk), Frida Shlyomovna Yakobson (Gordon) (1929, Dvinsk) , and Khaya Shlyomovna Gordon (1932, Dvinsk).
In 1969, Elizaveta Gordon received permission to emigrate to Israel, where her cousin Kohen Sarra had lived since 1936, having moved to then-Palestine in search of work.
