Son-in-law of the aforementioned R. Moshe Lernblat.

He served here as rabbi from the winter of 5620, and also served as official rabbi. For many years he served as rabbi in Bauska (see there), where he passed away at the end of 5672 (1912).1)

In Ohalei Shem it is written that he was accepted here as rabbi in 5622, but in the registration books here he already appears as rabbi in the month of Tevet 5620 (January 1860).
