Dordin Samuil Solomonovich (1947) - doctor.

In 1962 Samuil Gordin entered medical school No. 2 in Riga, and on 25.06.1966 he graduated with honours from the full course of this school, specialising as a paramedic. By the decision of the State Qualification Commission of 25.06.1966 he was qualified as a paramedic. In 1967 he entered the Riga Medical Institute and graduated from it in 1973, specialising in medical science. By the decision of the State Examination Commission of 20.06.1973 he was qualified as a doctor. He was sent by the commission on distribution of young specialists to work in Ventspils as a surgeon-urologist. From 01.08.1973 he was enrolled in a one-year internship in the speciality ‘surgery’ on the basis of the 3rd department of the 2nd Riga City Hospital. The direct training of Gordin was entrusted to the head of the 3rd department A.Bramnik. On 29.07.1974 he was relieved of the position of intern doctor due to the completion of internship.
